Vienna Private Tour Guide

My name is Rudi Evers- I am a licensed private local guide of Vienna and of Austria.  I am also a tour manager, which would enable us to see more than just the city.  All done at a leisurely and enjoyable pace, of course, either by car or minivan or on foot !

My City- Vienna   A city, full of history (after all, it was an imperial residence for over 450 years!), but also of music (Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven and many more) and of art (over 100 museums).  A city, teeming with life, that combines both the past and the present and where you will find yourself right at home.

Some of its extraordinary sights, that I will show you, are : St. Stephan's Cathedral, Hofburg - the Imperial Winter Palace, Schönbrunn - the Imperial Summer Residence , Prater - former Imperial Hunting Reserve - with its Giant Ferris Wheel.

Other possibilities are a visit to the beautiful, romantic Vienna Woods right at its doorstep or a boat ride on the (blue?) Danube River while visiting the picturesque Wachau (wine) region with its fantastic Benedictine Abbey of Melk.

From Vienna it isn't far to other interesting towns, like Graz ( with,
nearby, the breeding farm of the Lipizzan horses) or Salzburg (Mozart's birthplace and Sound of Music).

About Me- Despite my major in Business Administration I have been in the tourism branch since 1976, first as tour manager and since 1987 as licensed local guide of Austria.  This way, I am able to apply all of my experience to ensure that you will have an unforgettable vacation!  Besides English, I also speak Dutch, Italian and French.

Special Interest Tours-  Architecture, Musicians', Bicycle, Viennese Coffeehouses and Wine Taverns' Tours, also by bus or minivan.

My Prices

Half-Day Tour (up to 3 hrs): 125 Euros
Full-Day Tour (up to 6 hrs): 240 Euros
Additional Hour : 40 Euros
Price does not include any entrance fees or transportation.
Rental of any kind can be arranged.
Discount on tours that last longer or over several days.
