My Name is Ivana Tatkova. I am a licensed guide and driver guide in Prague and also to other interesting sights within the Czech Republic. With over 14 years of experience as a private guide, I can guarantee that with me you will travel in comfort and style. In addition to common tourist attractions, it would be my pleasure to arrange special tours that are not open to public, for example tours of famous artist‘s homes. 

My city and Region – Prague is a special and precious jewel in the stone crown of the world.  This wonderful city offers a textbook example of a wide variety of architecture including the world famous gothic architecture of the Charles Bridge and St. Vitus Cathedral, the Baroque style of the St. Nicolas Church and the ultra modern architecture of the “Dancing House”. Take a walk through the Prague Castle or the Jewish Quarter and its like walking through the last 1000 years of history. The Czech Republic has 12 historical sights and cultural monuments which are on the UNESCO list, for example the magical town of Cesky Krumlov, the fairytale town of Telc or the wonderful castle and gardens in Lednice which are located in South Moravia’s famous wine region.

About me - I’m not only the one who will organize your tour, but also your personal tour guide. I studied library sciences and also took many courses in art history which is my greatest passion. I am also an authorized guide of the Jewish Museum and the Jewish Town in Prague. I love my work as it gives me an opportunity to share the beauties and history of my town and my country with my clients.  

Special Interest Tours - I am also an authorized guide for Special Intersts Tours ,which is my specialty – „Baroque City“, „Art Nouveau Prague“, „Garden Tour“….These tours usually include private visits of interiors which are not open to the general public or also tours through the homes of private collectors. As I have many Jewish clients I also specialize in „Jewish tours“ such as the Jewish Quarter tour, the Terezin Concentration Camp tour, the Trebic tour, and other important Jewish sights in our country.

My Prices 

Walking tour – prices are per hour (3 hours are minimum)
25 EURO / hour for 2 – 3 people
27 EURO / hour for 4 – 8 people  

Driven tour – prices are per hour (2 hours are minimum)
40 EURO / hour for 2 – 3 people
50 EURO / hour for 4 – 6 people
55 EURO / hour for 7 – 8 people

I drive luxury BMW or luxuyy minivan VW 

You can pay after the program in Czk, EUR or USD. I also take credit cards.
