Copenhagen Private Tour Guide

My name is Avril Bayne-  I am a registered guide from the University of Roskilde Denmark and live on the outskirts of Copenhagen.  I work as a free-lance private guide in Denmark and I guide in my native language, English.

My City-  Denmark and its world famous capital, Copenhagen, are where the enchantment of Hans Christian Andersen still reigns.  From the ancient Viking ships and Shakespeare's Hamlet at the famous Kronborg Castle, to the newly opened ultra modern Opera, old and new are blended with taste and skill.

About Me- I am a British citizen, born and educated in Scotland, and I have been living in Denmark, on the outskirts of Copenhagen, for more than 20 years.  Originally my education is that of a laboratory technician, but 4 years ago I decided to enter the world of tourism in order to pursue my interest in Danish history, textile history and art.

Special Interest Tours- Whether your mission is that of a business traveler or simply a holiday maker, I can arrange tours to suit your personal requirements and interests, adding to your understanding of Denmark's historical and cultural background, its interesting customs and the Danish lifestyle that intrigues the world.  A personal guide takes care of all the practical details such as transport, specific itineraries, opening hours, and restaurant reservations.  This allows you to enjoy your own interests at your own pace.

My Prices

Denmark does not permit registered guides to drive and guide.  Transport is extra, dependent upon the transport requirements.       

For guiding up to 3 hours on a highlights tour: 1000DKK or 135 euros (excludes transport costs)     

For guiding a 2 hour walking tour with a maximum of 20 persons
1000DKK or 135 euros.
