Tour 4- Literary London Pub Walk
London is a moveable feast - a procession of Georgian squares amid the busy warren of streets. But right in their midst are a couple of the best old pubs in London. Your host - a born raconteur - will stir things up as he tells you about how the literary greats lived, loved, laughed, caroused, quarreled and spun their nimble words. Learn how London touched the lives of Oscar Wilde, G. Bernard Shaw, Virginia Woolf, George Orwell, W. B. Yeats and T. S. Eliot. |

Tour 5- Jack the Ripper Walk
Begin your Jack the Ripper Walk at Tower Hill, right on the boundary between Scotland Yard territory and the City of London Police territory. It was this conflict of jurisdiction that hampered the investigation and made it easier for the Ripper to slip through police nets. You'll enter the pub where one of the Ripper's victims drank and enjoy the speculation that continues to this day about the Ripper's identity. The walk ends at the site of the last ghastly murder. |
