Are the prices per person or for the whole group?
All tour prices (whether walking tours or tours with transportation) are per group. If you are using transportation that we provide, the price is based on the vehicle size used. Incidental expenses such as prepaid entrance fees, if included, are per person.

Are all the guides you use Licensed Guides?
All walking tours use Licensed Guides. Driving tours usually use Driver Guides, or if noted or requested both a Driver and a Licensed Guide.

What's the difference between a driver guide, and a licensed guide?
Licensed Guide- A tour guide who has the utmost training as required by their government to offer tours. A licensed guide is fully trained to offer commentary on driving tours plus provide walking tours and tours inside historical sites and museums. A licensed guide must carry their license badge whenever they are offering their services.
Driver Guide- A driver who is trained about their region or city so that they can provide commentary in English during the driving portions of your tour. A driver guide does not provide walking tours or tours inside historical sites or museums.

If my tour uses a vehicle is it air conditioned and non smoking?

Where do we meet our guide?
Your driver / guide will meet you at the hotel lobby or other agreed upon location listed on your confirmation. If the meeting is in a public place such as an airport, your guide will hold a sign which includes the “Client Name” as shown on your confirmation.

Will you give us a local phone number for the guide?
Yes. In case of any last minute changes or cancellations you will have a local telephone number to call in the city you are visiting.

Will you send us a confirmation?
Once your tour is confirmed, a written confirmation, introduction letter and terms and conditions page is sent to you by e-mail in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf file) format. Please print them out and take them with you on your trip.

When is the payment due?
Your card is charged for the full amount of the tour about 21 days prior to the tour

Can I pay with US dollars?
The tours are operated by European tour companies which charge your credit card in the local currency, the Euro or GBP.

Can we pay with more than one credit card?
Yes! You can pay with up to two cards per tour. Or multiple tours can be charged separately on separate cards.

Can I pay at the time of the tour?
A credit card is always required to confirm your tour, and cash payment in Euro (not US Dollars) may only be made by prior arrangement before the tour begins. If you are interested in paying cash, please let us know.

How much should we tip?
Count on a tip in the amount of 10-15% of the tour price, if you are pleased with the service. (We're sure you will be!) Tips to your driver or guide are not included in the tour price.

Do you make museum reservations, advance ticket purchases?
For some tours we make advance reservations and arrange tickets at additional cost. For others we are happy to help you make your own reservations once you have confirmed the tour.

Can we make changes to the itinerary?
If you would like to change your tour itinerary before you depart, please contact us. Once your tour has begun it is possible for your guide and/or driver to make changes, assuming it fits within the time frame and general guidelines of the tour as purchased.
