My name is Jodie- Personal Shopping Guides in Paris, is what I’m about. I know what it’s like to be lost in an amazing city, wanting to see and do more than what a guidebook recommends, but just not knowing how.  Now after a decade in Paris I’ve mastered not only the language and the culture but the ins and outs of this complex shopping capital. My City- There are thousands of things you already know about Paris, but do you know where to get that perfect Cacharel shirt, a demi-cooked foie gras, or Baccarat crystal at an incredible price?  I show you where to go for all these (and more) and connect you with the cultural codes you'll need so you won’t be pegged as a tourist.  With my guidance you receive better service, discover back-street boutiques and even learn the secrets of Rue de Montorgeuil.  Paris is a wonderful place to visit with me as your shopping guide.

About me- I’m an American who’s been living in Paris for over a decade.  I’ve worked both as a Personal Assistant, and in the fashion industry designing hand-bags and home design, now along with giving personalized Paris shopping tours, I also host networking events.

My Prices

Personalized shopping with Jodie is personally priced.  The starting rate is 150 euros for the first 3 hours, however the more you shop, the more you save.  Special weekly rates are available.  You really can’t afford not to shop with Jodie.

"Jodie took three of us on a whirlwind shopping trip of Paris February 20th, 2006.  In less than three hours Priscilla found tailored wool pants on sale, Vicki found a skirt that satisfied her dream of something original from Paris, and I found all the little gifts for friends and family who hoped for a souvenir from my trip.  We also had time for a glimpse inside St. Sulpice and a perfume boutique before Jodie pointed out a cafe for lunch and left us.  Jodie even took the time to type up lists for each of us with recommendations to investigate on our own if we wished. "My husband and I visited Paris in November and had just a few days to see the city, which of course, needed to include some power shopping. We found Jodie on the Travel with Friends Web site prior to our trip and communicated via email about what we wanted to see and do while in Pairs. Upon arrival at our Hotel, we were greeted by a goody bag filled with maps, shopping guides and other essentials that Jodie had left for us. She met us at our hotel, got us acquainted with the Metro and we were soon on our way to the greatest "Shop til you Drop" experience we have ever had in any city!  Jodie guided us in and out of fun boutiques, through shoe stores that were so great they gave me a buzz, fantastic lunch spots, sidewalk cafes for people watching, swanky hang-outs for drinks, then dinner and even more shops!
 
The second day when my husband was pooped, she booked him a massage at a fabulous Spa, which I am happy to say left me "free to be" with my American Express.

After our return to the U.S., some friends loved a few of the tid- bits I had brought home. A quick email to Jodie, and before I knew it, I had a box of Christmas gifts at my door!!  What a gal!! She is truly a find! She took our trip over the top and we can not imagine hitting Paris without her!! Leaving Jodie in Paris was likeleaving a friend. We can't wait to go back!
