Tour 1 - Versailles Half Day - 4 Hours

Enjoy private door to door service from your central Paris hotel to the Royal Castle of Versailles. You will discover the interior, with highlights like the apartments of the King, the Hall of Mirrors, and the Queen's apartments, using Audio Guides and exploring at your own pace. Then visit the gardens, fountains and reflecting pools. When you have finished, your English speaking driver will take you back to your accommodation in Paris, driving by other famous sites as time permits. (Tour pick up time at 8:00 am or 2:00 pm to avoid extra cost.)

Includes - Entry tickets to Versailles interior not included. Plan on 18 Euro per person. Versailles Palace is closed on Mondays.

Tour 2 - Giverny - 4 Hours

Your English speaking driver-guide will pick you up at your hotel in Paris and take your private group through the countryside of Monet's life as you drive through the valley of the Seine. Upon arrival in Giverny you will visit Monet's enchanting country house and amazing gardens on a self-guided itinerary. Monet's house is decorated in the colors that the painter loved. The gardens, Japanese bridge and water-lily ponds offer memories for a lifetime. Tour available from April 1st until November 1st. (Tour pick up time at 8:00 am or 2:00 pm to avoid extra cost.)

Tour 3 - Paris and Versailles Full Day - 8 Hours

Enjoy a private guided tour of Paris in the morning, followed by a drive through the Versailles park and visit to the beautiful Versailles gardens, home to the hamlet of Marie Antoinette, the Petit Trianon and the Grand Trianon. Your English speaking driver-guide is at your disposal for the full day, and will show you in a few hours what it can take a week to discover on your own. In Versailles you can see the Palace interior on your own using an Audio Guide. Or stroll the gardens amid fountains and sculpture from the reign of the Sun King. Interior entry tickets not included.

NOTES - Meals, entrance fees and gratuities are not included. Plan on 18 Euro per person. Versailles Palace is closed on Mondays.

Tour 4 - Giverny and Versailles - 8 Hours

This full day private sightseeing tour with your English speaking driver-guide will take you through the Versailles park and gardens, and offer you a visit of the palace of Versailles on your own with audio guides. Then you'll continue to Giverny to experience the natural Impressionistic beauty held captive in Monet's home and garden.

Tour 5 - Champagne: Reims & Epernay - 8 Hours

Your English speaking private driver-guide will pick you up early at your hotel to take your private group to Reims (Rheims), where most of the Kings of France were crowned. You will see the Reims gothic cathedral with the smiling angel from the 13th century, and the many Champagne Houses represented in the town. After lunch or a tasting, you'll will drive through the colorful vineyards of the terroire, and visit villages including Hautvillers, the home village of Dom Perignon. Do you have a favorite Champagne house that you'd like to visit? Just ask, and we'll see if we can make it part of the tour before heading back to Paris.

Tour 6 - Chateaux of the Loire Valley - 10 Hours

Your English speaking private driver-guide will pick you up early at your hotel to take your private group to visit up to 3 chateaux in the Loire Valley.  We suggest these candidates as the most beautiful: Chenonceau, Amboise, Cheverny, and Chambord. But you may have other preferences. Whichever ones you choose, you'll see first-hand the glamour and grandeur of French aristocratic life. Driving through the bucolic Loire Valley, you'll understand why this became the preferred enclave of the nobility. Chambord is the largest chateau built for King Francois 1st as a hunting lodge, Cheverny Castle is the most beautifully furnished, Amboise is the home of Leonardo da Vinci's tomb, Chenonceau is built spanning over the River Cher in Renaissance style and is known as the Ladies' Castle.

Tour 7 - D-Day Beaches - 12 Hours

This memorable day trip from Paris is a must for WWII buffs.  Your private English speaking driver-guide will pick you up at your Paris hotel and drive you to visit the Normandy battlefields and landing beaches of World War II. You'll see the American cemetery, landing beaches and gain a personal view of the wartime experience Allied Soldiers faced. This poignant visit is designed to show you the best available sites, but you are always in control, and can linger where you are most interested. You'll drive through the picturesque Normandy countryside to sights such as the Caen Memorial, Omaha, June and Gold Beaches, Pointe du Hoc, Arromanches, as well as visiting the American cemetery of Saint-Laurent, final resting place of 10,000 soldiers. You’ll come away with new found pride and humility in what it means to be American.

Tour 8 - Mont Saint Michel - 12 Hours

Your English speaking private driver-guide will pick you up early at your hotel to take you to Mont Saint Michel, located on the north coast of France, at the border of Brittany and Normandy. You'll learn the history of this magical place - the mystery surrounding its beginnings including dreams of the Archangel Michael who commanded the church be built on the rock. Tour the ancient abbey and refresh yourself in the tiny restaurants after shopping on the Grand Rue. Keep track of the tide which has been the defender of this rock for ages. Then drive in comfort back to your hotel in Paris having seen one of the world's travel icons.
