Berlin Private Tour Guide

My name is Jo Eckardt - I am a private local guide in Berlin and I offer private tours on foot, by car or by bus in and around Berlin.  Berlin is an interesting and exciting city and there is so much to see! 

My City- Berlin is a wonderful city.  It's historic, yet modern; a melting pot, yet traditional; metropolitan, yet 30 % of it is parks, forests and lakes.  Some of the highlights include: Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, the Jewish Museum, remnants of the Wall, Potsdam Square, the Holocaust Memorial.  Also, Potsdam with the famous Sansoucci Castle is only half an hour away!

About Me- I am a native German and I moved to Berlin in 2001 after teaching and working in New York for 19 years.  I haven't regretted the move - even though I still miss New York sometimes. When I'm not showing people around Berlin, I work as a writer and educator.

Special Interest Tours- The Jewish heritage tour includes a visit to the Jewish Museum, the New Synagogue and old Jewish cemetery.  Other special tours focus on the Cold War, or the Second World War.  Let me know what interests you and I will  design a special tour!  I can also organize private cruise ship excursions from Rostock!

My Prices

Walking Tour- 60 Euro per hour (per private group)
Driving Tour (air conditioned car)- 90 Euro per hour (max 3 people)
Private Bus Tours- Starts at Euro 550 for 3 hours 
Cruise Ship Shore Excursion from Rostock - Warnemünde- Starts at 700 Euro per private group.
