Milan Private Tour Guide

My name is Lorenza Scorti- I became a licensed guide in 1983 for Como, the town where I was born, and in 1992 for Milan, the city where I live.  Now I am a member of the most qualified association of guides in my region.

My City- Lake Como is a Y-shaped lake of glacial origin and is surrounded by the pre-alps.  The city of Como is the fine silk capital of the world and was founded by the Romans.  In the center you will find medieval walls, elegant boutiques, and ancient churches and buildings.  Along the lake's shore are tiny villages and magnificent villas with beautiful gardens.  Movie stars live and film movies here.

One hour away by car is another world - Milan: modern, elegant and ancient at the same time.  Fashion, design, music, Italy's economic capital and Roman ruins next to trendy fashion shops. A basic tour in Milan includes: Duomo (Cathedral), Galleria, Scala Opera House and Leonardo's Last Supper and can be done on foot.  Reservations are required to see the Last Supper.  I can get the necessary tickets if you book the tour well in advance. 

About Me- I am a Licensed Tourist guide in Italy which requires not only a PHD level of education and knowledge of languages and art history, but also passion.  When I guide you I feel like I’m showing you my home.  I guide in English, French or Spanish.

Special Interest Tours- A tour of Como Lake has to be done by boat.  Como, Bellagio, Tremezzo, Varenna are not to be missed.  Special trips in Como include: "Gardens and Villas on the Lake", "Como the City of Silk", and "Two Lakes in One Day - Como and Lugano".  In Milan special itineraries include "Aristocratic Settlements",  "Art Galleries (Brera, Poldi Pezzoli)", "Leonardo da Vinci in Milan", or "Music in Milan".

3 Hours (minimum)- 125 Euro

 6 Hours- 250 Euro

*Entrance fees not included. 

Half day Driving Tour in Milan (1 to 7 people)

A chartered car with driver, add these prices to above 3 hour rate.

3 seat car- 160 Euro

5 seat minivan- 180 Euro

7 seats minibus- 200 Euro

For an airport pick up (only with a tour) add 50 Euro.  Driver will bring you to meet me in Milan.  For car to / from Como or for bigger buses, ask separately.
