Warsaw Private Tour Guide
My name is Ewa Bratosiewicz. I am a licensed tour leader and professional city of Warsaw guide dealing both with private tours for individuals or family groups and larger groups as well. My private clients come mostly from Europe, but also from the USA and Asia. I am independent, professional and experienced private guide, speaking fluent English. I can tailor the city tour according to your preferences (walking, car tour or mixed), within the city or its surroundings.
My City- Warszawa (Warsaw) is the capital of Poland, situated in the Mazovia province, in east-central Poland. The tourist epicenter of Warsaw is the Royal Route, which runs north-south from the New and Old Towns, passing the fashionable shops of Nowy Swiat street, the palaces that survived the war and the Royal gardens of Lazienki Park, before reaching Wilanow Palace to the south of the city center. Much of Warsaw's historic center was recreated after World War II, and the strikingly successful rebuilding of the Old Town was finally rewarded in 1980, when the entire complex earned its place on the UNESCO World Heritage List. As the pre-war large Jewish community center Warsaw has now some fragile material traces of the Jewish history, inscriptions, documents and testimonies - the legacy of surviving memory - including remaining of the Ghetto walls, monuments and cemeteries. But there is much more than that - the unforgettable atmosphere and a city spirit!
About Me- I am a qualified tour leader and professional city of Warsaw guide (both government licensed). Tourism has been my job for more than 15 years - I own and run a travel agency in Warsaw dealing with incoming and outgoing tourism, which organizes courses for licensed tour leaders and city guides as well. I specialize in history of Warsaw, Warsaw and Ghetto uprisings and special interest tours.
Warsaw Special Interest Tours- I can arrange special tours according to customers' interest such as: History of Polish Parliament tour, Jewish Warsaw, Warsaw Uprising tour, Modern Warsaw, historic churches of Warsaw, religion tour of Warsaw (catholic, protestant, orthodox, Muslim, Jewish), Warsaw Pearls of Baroque, Communist Warsaw, Great Poles tour (F.Chopin, Maria Curie-Sklodowska, King John III Sobieski, etc). shopping tour and many others.

My Past Guest's Comments
"We spent two days in Warsaw with Ewa on August 12 and 13. It was our first trip to Poland, and we felt we really didn't know much about the country. Well, after being with Ewa, we felt as if we'd had a full course on Polish history! She bought everything to life and her depth of knowledge is exceptional. All this, and she is a joy to be with. Funny, nice AND she introduced me to my new love, Sour soup!"
Wally and Robbie Bregman,
Del Mar, CA USA, August 2007
"We have returned to the US, and I am writing you to tell you that your tour was excellent!! You made our short stay in Warsaw a memorable one. You explained a lot to us that is not contained in any of the guide books we had read. I will definitely recommend your guide service to everyone I know. Again, thank you very much." Ed Shugart, May 2007
"Ewa is an outstanding guide. She is very professional and speaks fluent English. We did a Jewish Tour in Warsaw and a visit to Treblinka and her vast knowledge about the Jewish culture is amazing. We highly recommend her." Newton and Regina Brener, Curitiba, Brazil, May 2007.
"Ewa was the perfect tour guide. Her English is fluent, and she has an astonishing depth of knowledge about Warsaw and its history. She was also wonderful company. I can recommend her without hesitation to anyone planning to visit the city." Jerry Bird, Leeds, England, April 2006
"Ewa was amazing. There is so much history in Warsaw and she had so much information to share. We never would have seen so many sights and hidden things without her." Steven H., Elk Grove, CA, October 2005
