I speak fluent English and Russian. I do walking and car sightseeing private tours in Warsaw and its surroundings. I have a comfortable personal car, suitable for 3 clients and myself.
My City- Warsaw (Warszawa) in the Mazovia region is a 700 year old town. Heroic and elegant, modern and ancient. Made a big jump from ruins in 1945 to a modern city today. Place of many historical monuments, theatres, restaurants, parks. Birthplace of Polish Nobel Prize Winner Mme Maria Sklodowska-Curie, of great Polish composer Frederic Chopin, of Nobel Prize Winner Henryk Sienkiewicz author of “Quo Vadis”. Warsaw and the Mazovian region is centrally located on the Polish map with easy approach by plane from Berlin, Moscow, Stockholm, Helsinki or 2.5 hours by train from historical Krakow (Cracow).
About Me- I am a licensed and experienced city guide of Warsaw and licensed tour leader in Poland. I specialize in Jewish history in Poland, I am also an experienced hunting guide and I work with European groups which come to Poland for nature and bird watching. My Past Guest's Comments
"My sister-in-law and I toured Warsaw during our first visit to Poland, traveling into the city for one fternoon via train from Krakow. Margaret met us at the train station and made our six hours in the city so rewarding! Not a moment was wasted - visiting by car and on foot many historic and cultural sites. We returned home with such affection for the country, people, culture, food, and cities of Poland! Thanks to Margaret's knowledge, experiences, and love for this city, the history and strength of Warsaw came alive. It made us want to return for more!" Marilyn K., June 2007, Chicago, IL USA
"We wish to express our deepest appreciation for your crucial contribution to the success of our journey to Poland. You helped us not only by sharing with us your extensive knowledge about Polish culture and heritage, but also by taking care of all logistic arrangements needed for our quite long and untypical tour. You did all that with great professionalism and most extraordinary devotion. We wish to thank you also for your unusual patience and for the great efforts you made for us every day, every moment; Your warm and personal attitude towards each of the group’s members was magnificent. Thanks to all of it, you let us feel at home in Poland." Members and staff Of Israeli academic delegation, August 2006
