Transylvania tour Guide

My name is Liviu-  I have been a licenced tour-guide in Romania begining with 1989. I offer private chauffeur-driven tours of Romania, main cities, tourist attrractions as well as the city of Bucharest.

My City or Region- Transilvania - cradle of Roumanian civilization with its legends and history, castles and rural fortified churches, cities and palaces world wide famous, but also Moldavia with marvelous painted monasteries and breath taking mountains and gorges, and Wallachia including the Capital Bucharest where I was born and lived.

About Me: I was a researcher and industrial designer till 1989. With the structural changes brought by that year all over Eastern Europe I chose to be an English speaking tour guide. Soon thereafter I discovered the challenge and greatness of private guiding and driving which I do with love and dedication. I also guide larger groups, do simultaneous and consecutive interpretations. I once had the honour of guiding a group form Mr. Clinton's staff when he was in Bucharest, Romania. Married, with two children; both maried.

Special Interest Tours: Family tours of Transilvania but also Moldavia and Wallachia; city tours of Bucharest, Brasov, Sighisoara, Sibiu, Cluj a.o., painted monasteries and wooden churches-UNESCO Sites, theme tours:as Jewish Heritage, Dracula a.o., main museums, historical, and cultural locations around the country.

Full day (up to 8 hours): 95 US Dollars (65 Euro)

Guiding services and driving (with my own transportation):
Half day (up to 4 hours): 85 - 120 US Dollars (58 - 82 Euro)
Full day (up to 9 hours): 170 - 215 US Dollars (116 - 146 Euro)
