My name is Jean Blair, living in Scotland’s capital city Edinburgh. I can tailor make private tours to suit individual visitors,  driving tours, walking tours, special interest tours, in cities and in the country.

My City- I live in Edinburgh in the east of Scotland, I am qualified to guide any where in Scotland, Highlands, Islands, Borders, North East, anywhere visitors want to travel to.  Scotland is a country of 5.1 million people with total land area of 30,405 square miles, a geologist paradise.  Visitors arriving by cruise ship can be driven to the Home of Golf at St Andrews or take a sail on Loch Lomond, visit Edinburgh Castle,  Holyrood Palace, visit some of our great stately homes Hopetoun House, Abbotsford House to name but a few.

About Me- I am a fully qualified Scottish Blue Badge Tour guide, my qualifications gained at the School of Scottish Study at the University of Edinburgh, studying for two years.  I have worked in the Hospitality Industry for over 15 years, I am also a qualified guide at Holyrood the new Scottish Parliament.  I love being a guide, showing visitors my beloved country, I also enjoy being with visitors from other parts of the world, making their holiday memorable.

Special Interest Tours-  I have a Toyota Previa Lucida vehicle seating 7 passengers, I can organize tours specially made for visitors interests, whether it is searching for ancestors, visiting castles, islands, gardens, golf, shopping.  Driving through Scotland seeing something of interest and going off the beaten track, not having to stay on the main roads.  I also guide on coach tours around Scotland, and walking tours in towns, cities or countryside.

My Prices

Guiding (no transportation)
Half day- up to 4 hours 70.00 GBP
Full day- up to 8 hours 110.00 GBP
Over 8 hours is charged at 15 GBP per hour

Driver Guiding (with transportation)
Half day- up to 4 hours 115 GBP
Full day- up to 8 hours 240 GBP
Over 8 hours is charge at 30 GBP per hour
 
The cost with vehicle includes car, insurance, fuel, guiding services, not including entrance fees
