My name is Alison Hypher and I’m an independent, qualified Blue Badge Tourist Guide based in Cheshire, UK.  I offer private, tailor-made itineraries throughout the UK – including walking and sightseeing tours, museum and garden visits.  My areas of specialist knowledge are Wales and the West Country.

My Region:  Wales - an ancient land steeped in history.  Majestic Snowdonia National Park with rugged terrain, scarred landscapes depicting industrial heritage and struggles of mining industries, historic ruins of castles and legends of heroes.

The West Country – with its diverse cultural sites.  Classic sites such as Glastonbury Abbey and St Michael’s Mount.  Unusual places such as the picturesque Clapperbridge or the Merry Maidens stone circle.
 
Explore Wales and the West Country and the regions around them.  Poets, writers and artists have found them places of inspiration.
 
Trips including other parts of the UK can also be arranged.
